HUMAN RIGHTS USA DOCUMENTARY SCREENING
Monday, April 20 (6pm)Human Rights USA invites you to a screening of “Pray the Devil Back to Hell,” a documentary of how courageous Liberian women brought peace to their war-torn country. Panelists include Abigail Disney, Producer of the film; Dr. Patricia Morris, Executive Director of Peace x Peace; and Matthew Baechtle, ICE Special Agent who launched the investigation of Chuckie Taylor, son of former Liberian President Charles Taylor. The panel will also address the civil case Human Rights USA has brought on behalf of victims of human rights violations in Liberia. The reception will be catered by Sumah's West African Restaurant, Hello Cupcake, and Chef Emilie Stein of Cafe 1612.
